CBS Ends Standoff With AT&T

CBS owned stations will return to AT&T properties and be available when the newly branded AT&T TV launches. The two companies have been at odds for months over the cost of retransmission fees, paid by providers to affiliate stations for the right to offer network affiliates to customers.

The agreement does not apply to all disputes involving CBS and AT&T. This is because a number of CBS affiliates are owned by other companies. Currently there are still 120 CBS stations owned by the media company Nexstar which are still blacked out.
