Local Now Adds New Movie Partner

Local Now, the app known for its access to  localized news, weather, sports, traffic, and entertainment in 225 markets across the US is adding a new movie and documentary partner to the mix. Magnolia Pictures’ extensive library of genre titles is available through the app giving streamers a whole new way to explore the world around them. Local Now viewers have access to a specially curated assortment of engaging films that include award-winning names, both behind and in front of the camera.

Viewers can enjoy titles like the BAFTA and Academy AwardⓇ nominated documentary RBG, rocking music documentary We Are X, trailblazing LGBT narrative Tangerine, and the moving BAFTA Award winner I Am Not Your Negro. Additional titles streaming on the new CineLife channel on Local Now include Centurion, Europa Report, Whose Streets?, The Wave and more.

Local Now offers more than 420 free streaming channels, including a Local Now channel in every DMA in the country, as well as more than 14,000 movies, TV shows, and documentaries. The Local Now app is available on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Xfinity, Vizio, Samsung, Android and IOS devices.
