Viacom CBS Brings Paramount+ To New International Markets On XBOX

When Viacom CBS became a newly christened company the CBS All Access app went through a branding change. The people up top felt that the most recognizable brand as far as international recognition was Paramount as apposed to say “CBS”. This makes perfect since. How many of you know the names of TV networks in countries you never lived in? This week Paramount+ announced a new partnership with Microsoft to bring Paramount+ to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S across several international markets.

Angela Heckman, Senior Vice President of International Streaming Distribution and Business Development at Paramount, commented: “Our goal is to make Paramount+’s popular content, characters and franchises available to an expanded audience. This partnership with Microsoft is another testament of our commitment to scale innovative global partnerships to maximize reach”

Fans in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latin America (including Brazil), Switzerland and the UK will be able to enjoy the streamer’s Mountain of Entertainment via their favorite Xbox consoles, including blockbusters, new originals & exclusive series, hit shows and kids favorites. XBOX to those who don’t entertain themselves with video games is the Microsoft gaming platform that has long competed for livingroom supremacy with Nintendo and Sony. And there are a lot of people who use them for both their gaming needs and TV viewing so that they never have to leave the main XBOX interface to access apps through their TVs or another device.
